Send a submission to the WA Government today to show your support for the proposed Kennedy Range Iconic Natural Heritage Place.
The WA Government has just released a public consultation paper, seeking community feedback on a proposal to ensure that future expansions to the Kennedy Range National Park are protected from fracking, through the creation of a Kennedy Range Iconic Natural Heritage Place.
The Kennedy Range and surrounding area is a majestic focal point of the Gascoyne region, with remarkable scenic beauty and remoteness.
Remnant of an ancient landscape, it contains marine fossils, dramatic sandstone cliffs dissected by steep canyons, and springs and soaks fringed with shady river red gums and paperbark trees. It's also home to important ecosystems and range of threatened and priority flora and fauna.
